The picking tool for photographers and their clients

Send 150.
Get the eight
they want.

Each project can hold up to five client pick links, so you can nudge clients toward a decision instead of chasing endless rounds - we’ve seen eight. Each link is its own locked round. No client accounts. No file dump. Just the photos that got chosen, with timestamps you can stand behind.
No client account required - send a protected link and get a clean pick list.

Why photographers use it

Three small fixes. One cleaner picking workflow.

Built for the parts of photo selection photographers keep doing by hand: resizing, protecting, and explaining a tool that should have stayed simple.
Benefit 01

Automatic photo compression

Upload your set once. SimplePickPhoto turns heavy files into fast, phone-friendly previews, so clients can browse smoothly without you exporting a second tiny batch.

Faster loading, fewer failed sends, and less waiting between your client and a final choice.
Benefit 02

Your brand watermark, automatically

Every preview is watermarked before the client sees it. Your work stays clearly yours without Photoshop passes, manual overlays, or risky unprotected files.

Consistent protection on every pick link, with nothing extra for you to set up.
Benefit 03

Simple tool. Simple price.

No gallery suite, no CRM bundle, no inflated monthly bill. The product stays focused on one job: helping clients choose the photos you need to edit.

Simple enough to stay at $7/month for the picking workflow.
How it works

Three steps. That’s the whole product.

No client onboarding, no app to install, no “share your gallery on Instagram for 5% off.” Send a link, your client picks, you’re done.
Step 01

Upload your set

Drag in up to 150 JPEGs, each under 10 MB. Watermarking is automatic. Your originals stay in the workspace for up to 14 days - long enough to finish a job, not long enough to be your backup.

Project-based - 1 + N structure: one Originals library, up to five pick links.
Step 02

Send a pick link

Set the cap (e.g. “pick 8”), the password, the expiry. Hit copy. Drop the link into iMessage or email. Your client opens it on whatever phone they have - the page is built for their thumb, not their patience.

Up to 5 pick links per project - password-protected - expires in 14 days or less.
Step 03

Get back a clean list

The moment your client hits submit, you see the thumbnails and filenames they picked, in the order they tapped them, and you can download the list. No CSV mailing back and forth. Edit those, deliver, move on.

Pick sets live 7 days after submission. Then we get out of the way.
FAQ

What people actually ask.

Is this just a pick tool? What about gallery hosting, prints, contracts?-
Yes - just picks. We believe photographers sometimes need a simple picking tool, not another complicated gallery, print store, or portal. You already have enough to manage.
How long do you keep my originals?+
14 days from your last upload. After that, they’re auto-deleted. We’re not your backup - we’re a short-term selection workspace. Pick sets your clients have submitted live for 7 more days, then those go too. Keep your master files where you already keep them.
What does my client need to do?+
Tap the link. Type the password. Pick photos by tapping. Hit submit. That’s it - no account, no app download, no email confirmation. The page is mobile-first because that’s where your clients actually are.
Can my client change their picks after submitting?+
No - by design. Once they submit, that’s the locked list you’ll edit from. If they really need to change it, they contact you and you create a new link for a re-pick. The point is to make repeated second-guessing less tempting - hopefully.
Where are the files stored?+
We do not offer photo storage. Uploaded files are compressed and turned into branded, watermarked previews automatically. Preview thumbnails stay available for up to 14 days; submitted client pick sets stay for 7 days.
Does SimplePickPhoto email my client?+
No. You send the pick link and password yourself, so the client relationship stays with you. After a client submits, they are reminded to notify you directly.
Who’s behind SimplePickPhoto?+
An indie project built for photographers who need a quiet, focused pick list instead of another gallery, storage product, or client portal.
